Build a Program

"We had long dreamed of integrating Promotores into our migrant health services but with the assistance of Migrant Health Promotion, that dream became a reality. We rely on Migrant Health Promotion for everything from orienting our staff to the Camp Health Aide model, to providing us with 'user friendly' training materials, to developing culturally appropriate methods of evaluating community needs and the impact of our peer education activities from the perspective of the Promotores themselves."

Susan Bauer, Director of Program Development, Community Health Partnership of Illinois

A national leader in program development and innovation, Migrant Health Promotion is committed to sharing its expertise to improve the health of farmworkers and their rural communities. Capacity-building assistance is provided to Migrant and Community Health Centers and other organizations to establish and maintain Promotor(a) programs using Migrant Health Promotion's experience and resources. Migrant Health Promotion is able to offer assistance free or for a reasonable fee.
