"La Esperanza"
"The most helpful things in "La Esperanza" are stories about other programs and how they are doing their work. It gives us a sense that we are not alone, and it gives us good ideas for doing things better."
-Promotora
"La Esperanza" (Hope) is a bilingual newsletter dedicated to the work of Promotores and Promotoras across the country. Migrant Health Promotion, collaborators and Promotores(as) themselves write articles specifically for and about their work.
Each issue highlights a different program or Promotor(a), inspiring Promotores(as) with stories of the excellent work of their peers. "La Esperanza" brings health education tips, advocacy tools, health education and networking opportunities directly to Promotores(as).
If Promotores(as) working with your organization would like to receive "La Esperanza," please contact Migrant Health Promotion's Capacity-Building Team at capacity@migranthealth.org. Remember: Program Coordinators and other advocates can subscribe to the Promotor(a) Program News Email Group for electronic copies of "La Esperanza" and more administratively-oriented information.
